Minimal Access Surgery

Due to it's immense benefits, minimally invasive surgical procedures have become one of the most promising fields of surgery of the 21st century. The demand for this surgery comes from both the surgeon as well as the patient, who benefits most from it. The importance of laparoscopic surgery is greater in a developing country like Bangladesh because there is a greater scarcity and demand for hospital beds and at the same time early return to work is a financial necessity. It has already become a reality that in the next generation of surgical practice, all surgeons of all specialties will have to go for endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. As the pioneer laparoscopic surgeons of Bangladesh in different specialties, we have established the JBFH Center for Endo - Laparoscopic Surgery dedicated to the training and development of all kinds of endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures of different specialties such as general surgery, paediatric surgery, gynaecology, urology and more.
